I am native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, an authentic “Carioca” who grew up surrounded by the sea and the green forest. I am 50 years old, married to Luciana, father of Lucas a thirteen year-old boy, and “Cotoco”, our Labradoodle. I've been living in USA since 2013.
I have a Master in Business Administration and MBAs in Finance and Executive. After 23 years working in the corporate environment, I decided to venture into different waters and focus on photography, my number one passion.
The passion started 18 years ago after receiving a film camera as a birthday gift from my brother André and, since then, I have been taking several courses in Brazil and at Emory University in Atlanta, USA.
I shoot mainly outdoor with beautiful landscape and different people. That is the environment I like the most and feel better. Some pictures are unique because they have frozen a real moment in real scenery and both no longer exist. None of the sceneries were man-made, they were real moments in time. You can find them along the Galleries.
The majority is taken during my trips to different places around the world.
I believe that a good picture always touches someone and I am happy every time my pictures evoke a feeling.
I am passionate about Black and White photography because I think it touches people’s feelings deeper.
welcome to my journey!
